Sadly we have to cancel this year's Bayern Nash Hash and Hash-a-thon.
Even though we are back to real life hashing, organising events like these is too risky whilst Munich is finding its way out of lockdown.
Let's all hope that next year is back to normal*
*although, of course, hashers don't do "normal"
Munich is slowly crawling out of the lock down starting with the Biergartens opening on the 18th May,
Your mismanagement is keeping an eye on the developments and are tentatively looking at the 13th June for a possible hash. Please bear in mind it will be adapted to suit the situations allowed. Comes in Handy is putting together an intensive guideline to hashing in Covid-19 times, please read this. If you are lucky I might put a quiz together. The guideline will be published when we know what we are doing.
We have to remain flexible and reactive - restrictions may have to be suddenly re-introduce (which is why our Webmeister wants you to connect to us on Twitter @MunichH3)

Earlier this year I, Comes in Handy, had the honour of being erected as this year's Webmeister for the Munich Hash House Harriers. I could see it as an appreciation of my dedication to this kennel but actually no-one else could be bothered to stand. I secured precisely zero votes and therefore walked it.
Well done me!
Since then, this is what I've done:
Due to the Coronavirus the largest beer festival in the world will not take place in 2020.
During a press conference on the 21st April the Minister President of Bavarian, Markus Söder and the Lord Mayor of Munich, Dieter Reiter cancelled the Wiesn.
Hopefully our Oktoberfest hash weekend will take place in 2021, starting with the Fullmoon Prelube on Thursday 23rd September and ending with the red dress run on Sunday 26th September.
